Yeah…I knew the power output is minimal and the upkeep is enormous and to my knowledge the blades are not recyclable…basically a waste in my opine and solar panels take so long to pay for themselves I’m all for green energy…as long as it’s affordable for all

Sorry really good info the greenies has no clue as to the damage they truly do…while you think figures off still how much CO2 is produced? It’s all good Uncle Dave all good

the CO2 produced was accurate, the electricity produced by a typical windmill was not accurate. I should have slept on it before posting.

...the windmills & solar are still an expensive disaster here in CA and still require import of ‘non-green’ electricity.

when the fluorescent bulbs were mandated by Obama i was concerned about mercury contamination with lax disposal.

When I lived in the states and had my business I would go to Home Depot to pick up scrap cardboard boxes with their permission. One day I say 3 employees out in the back breaking all of the tube type fluorescent bulbs. Great fun as they were in a cloud of white dust.

ugh... i’m certain that most just tossed the cfl bulbs in the trash... and if it gets into the water table... $&@?!...

think whole co2 /climate thing is a scam.

we’ve always had droughts here but haven’t built any new water storage in almost 50 years despite voters passing water project bonds practically every year and population multiplying... they want us to run out of water... was another Substack where they were discussing using the shut down (or soon to be decommissioned) Diablo Canyon nuclear plant for desalination and everyone was complaining and i mentioned an easier fix utilizing the massive Cadiz Aquifer under the Mohave desert in litigation since Obama and only one person responded to me... sorry for the rant, but people here don’t care about anything till it smacks them in the face & then they just pack up and go to FL or TX.

I am convinced that the CO2 and climate change or global warming is a scam. to think that something that is somewhere between 300 and 400 parts per million of the atmosphere, which equates to .0004 percent has any effect on climate is silly. It really needs to get above 1 percent to have any effect. At 4 percent it will however eliminate human life. That is about 10,000 times the current level. Mostly I see it as a scare tactic and to enrich the elites as they make huge amounts of money off the whole scam.

I have seen in CA that they have been emptying the northern CA reservoirs to supposedly protect fish in some delta, this is the real cause of the water problems. It has been going on for years and nothing changes for the fish.

Patrick Moore’s “Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom” convinced me it was truly all a scam. The perpetrators seemed to have discarded rising seas and other things that people can actually see with their own eyes that they’re not happening (not to mention said perpetrators all have ocean-side properties, I read). The best scams are always things that can’t be seen: viruses, Co2, etc.

interesting insights. the rising seas threat if the Arctic ice melts is lots of bunk. Water expands at a temperature around 36 degrees F until it freezes solid. If this did not happen, the lakes and rivers would freeze from the bottom up and kill all the fish. Nice plan by God.

the Arctic is a rather thin sheet of ice, was on a nuclear sub that went to the north pole and broke through the ice just by surfacing. The conning tower broke through and crew members were allowed to set foot on the north pole. Most of the ice is below the surface, like an ice cube in water, and if it all melted the actual result would probably be a decrease in sea level.

here is article about subs surfacing at north pole. https://blog.hotwhopper.com/2013/08/holey-moley-arctic.html

I was on the USS Seadragon, which I think was the first to do so.
