I can only recall having mumps, but only on one side, likely because I have a distinct memory of trying to eat cold cereal (Sugar Pops, to be exact) on the affected side, marveling at how I could barely open my mouth wide enough to get the cereal between my teeth.
I remember my 3 sons having chicken pox at the same time. They were 5 years apart and the older they were the sicker they got. The oldest was heard giving orders as Captain Kirk did in Star Trek, which we watched a lot of when he was little. The youngest barely knew he was sick.
I’ve already determined we will not get 5G phones. When our iPhone XRs stop working, it’ll be the lowest-tech devise we can find. My wife won’t like it as she likes to snoop and see where I and her girls are in the Find My app. Utah is eager to have our driver’s license go digital as well as getting our vaccine info on the phone, too. Our governor ran as republican but is a liberal in conservative-sheep clothing. When he meets with youth groups he starts by giving his pronouns. I think he was elected through voting fraud.
Anyway, the likely steps will be an extra charge for wanting a non-digital license, for the cost printing and mailing, then they’ll do away with hard copies altogether. Perhaps having a smart phone will become mandatory. They’ll have to give me one for free, then it’ll accidentally get dropped.
interesting the observation about the older kids being more sick. I only remember the itchies, and not much else, the mumps were the most uncomfortable as I remember. It seems that mobile phones are becoming mandatory. Here in French territory if you want a checking account you must have a mobile phone and an app, especially if you want to purchase on line. So I only have a French savings account and if I want to purchase something with that money, wow, I have to prove what I am purchasing with an invoice. WTF it is my money and if I want to purchase a swimming pool what business is it of the bank.
Yes, the older you are when you get chicken pox the worse the illness. It’s quite dangerous for adults, which is used to scare people into getting a vaccine for it.
can remember having mumps & chicken pox in the 1970s... the chicken pox was in summer and we put calamine lotion on it. it was hard to avoid scratching and my sister got scars on her face from scratching.
i vaguely remember my dad’s car he had from his bachelor days when i was little... it was a two door sports car (might have been a studebaker?) and we called it the green dragon because of the roar it made when it started up.
thank you for the article on 5G... very well written. 5G is a radioactive topic... essential part of the trans humanist control plan... they cannot achieve the goal without it. Jessica Rose Substack ‘Unacceptable Jessica’ had a post a few months ago about a doctor from the World Health Council presenting the dangers of 5G being simultaneously hacked during her presentation (they deleted her online visuals then interfered with her lecture)... Frances Leader ‘Uncensored’ Substack has also been dissed, but hasn’t stopped her... Mejbcart’s Newsletter also covers it extensively but maybe doesn’t yet have the volume of followers to make it a target... other doctors’ have mentioned the risks, but just in passing... maybe others i’m not yet aware of but it seems to bring trouble.
have noticed when i started aggressively posting comments on 5G my phone was hacked and now i’m having a lot of trouble just putting together my newsletter (hope i don’t disappoint anyone but I may be forced to just go to pictures because they mess with / delete my text... not yet sure what i will do) but don’t think i can stop with my comments... it’s too important to me🐱🙏🐱
I am encouraged at all of the people that are speaking out against this evil that is openly manifest all around the globe. Each has become a target and I pray for their safety and that God's protective hand is always upon them. Their courage is remarkable. It is quite humbling for me. I know of my demise at their hands, one of the things about seeing the future. I can face it and all of the trials that are yet to come. God be with you always.
Thank you for the childhood memories. The two hole outhouses with Sears catalogs to use as toilet paper are in my memories.
I think we got indoor plumbing in 1955.
I was not aware of what hard top meant for an automobile until your post.
I know I had childhood diseases and also had a small pox scar on my arm which seems to have faded away now.
I had not heard of the measles, etc. parties until this post.
I remember two of my friends had polio and survived. My mother said the cause of polio was not known and the two friends had been to the same fair and may have gotten it there. I remember she mentioned it may have come from cotton candy!
I haven’t read much about 5G, so your post is enlightening. Thank you for the valuable information. 🙏🏻❤️
my mother was convinced that polio had to do with sanitation as in contaminated drinking water. Thanks for sharing your memories. Several people have shared mothers taking children around to get childhood diseases as late as the 1990s, which surprised me. BigT and his observation about older kids suffering more from these diseases confirmed what I thought. No need for children to get any type of vaccination in my thinking.
My daughters were born in the early 90s and my sister and I gathered our kids together for chicken pox parties. Maybe the end of that era as my friend's kids began opting for the chicken pox vaccine not long after.
Thank you, David, posting the additional 5G info. Most interesting to hear that it may not be feasible (and too expensive) to implement it in areas outside of larger cities. I wonder what constitutes a not-large-enough city.
What is so disheartening about all this is that just as we are entering the optimistic sci-fi world of the future that I was so looking forward to, we find it is all being taken over by unthinkable evil doers. And we have a completely unknown Twilight Zone future ahead.
I also enjoyed your eye-opening memories of the research the being done with microwaves back in the day. And I, too, am of the generation of getting vaccinated the old-fashioned way.

I understand it is the same for mumps, it is not nice to get older, but it beats the alternative.
your posts are always fascinating!

we are definitely in a war for humanity and 5G I think, like you, is a big part of the equation. thanks for the likes and the comments.

had no idea that these things carried on for so long.
