I’m loving reading this journey, David. Thank you for the integrity of taking down a post you found flawed. I will start at your first and commit to at least reading that one today.
Thank you for the encouragement, the amount of flack I am taking is bothersome, but expected. I have been accused of being in league with the devil; this by several people. One person even was writing substack posts specifically directed against me and my posts, calling me the most creepy person on the planet and a narc and accusing me of being the one that redacted the scriptures. Twisting everything that I was writing.
It is not the 1st post that I have had to amend. The 1st one I caught myself, this last one Simon See caught and questioned. I am open to criticism and try to evaluate what other's say, always looking for the truth. If you have time look at the replies I gave to my nephew about Jesus. I intend to write about Jesus specifically in the future, I try to keep the posts short and spaced, giving people time to contemplate if they are inclined.
I started at the beginning and will look out for the Jesus posts.
I’m sorry to hear you’re being met with accusations. If what you say doesn’t resonate with someone, it’s possible that reality hasn’t opened up for them yet. It’s hard to trust what you see/read/hear in a profoundly unauthentic society. Trust is the meta currency and people are so afraid of being scammed. Me included. But in the end, I trust first and only if find myself duped do I pull back. Got a live a little. :)
John 1:21 disputes John the Baptist being Elijah…John the Baptist and Elijah are compared due to similar lifestyles…John The Baptist was also killed while Elijah was “taken up” I.e still alive…
Please give references which substantiate they are one and the same.
In Matthew 11, Jesus speaks of the greatness of John the Baptist, and includes this in verses 14-15:
“If you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Matthew has more to say about Elijah and John the Baptist in chapter 17. This chapter begins with the transfiguration, during which Peter, James and John see Jesus in glory on a mountain, in conversation with Moses and with Elijah. Then we read:
As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”
And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?” He answered, “Elijah does come, and he will restore all things. But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”
Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist. (Matthew 17:9-13)
There are always fractals of understandings in scriptures, plus all translations have been bastardized and diluted, especially the KJV and many following after.
I have not unearthed this particular riddle yet, nor have I researched the Greek Interlinear yet on these verses, but perhaps I know something that might help as food for thought...?
I'm thinking that perhaps this "taken up" as Alan describes was not exactly as it sounds (beam me up, Scotty!) but moreso a spiritual event, and I say so because I, myself, have experienced a similar happening, although not as Elijah did in fullness because I am clearly not Elijah. I'm thinking that what many Christians like to refer to as The Rapture is along similar lines.
It happened in an instant "the blink of an eye" and ever since I have existed fully on more than one dimensional plane, simultaneously (although not always with the same consistent intensity - learning to ride the bike).
Perhaps - as time as I understand it as only existing linearly in this naturally experienced dimension - at that point becomes understood as more of a fold, or a stacked overlay and all aspects of your combined (reincarnated?) existences over the ages are brought into our more active awareness? I don't have so much an awareness of who I have been as I have had a rush of understandings hit so fast I could barely remain sane beneath the onslaught.
It took weeks to settle into any sense of normalcy, but that's me - I suspect Elijah was fully spiritually prepared for this and it was just a natural progression for him.
I will also say that Elijah was existing wholly in the Creator's (YHWH's) Truth, which is Yeshua/Messiah, and as such possessed the key necessary to entirely understand. It is critical to understand what Yeshua really did aside from just the natural in order to realize how he broke the ongoing cycles of ages, the constant ouroboros of what we perceive as time.
David, you have spoken before of the cruising ship a fraction of a degree off-true and that's essentially what Yeshua corrected - that frequency/time/space manipulation causing such great discordance and cacophony. He brought all things back into center and canceled the destructive waves barreling in from both directions, or rather, the proper realignment caused these waves to cancel themselves.
Usually, when I begin to state things like this I get pushback from all sides, which is good, we all should be as engaged in pursuit of truth as possible. I'm not claiming to be an expert on anything, just trying to share the ins-and-outs of how my life has entirely changed.
I see things in, essentially, this nutshell:
Truth is truth, no matter who holds it. Everyone alive possesses some, and one of the reasons those running the show today are so effective is how much truth they understand so well that they are able to manipulate events beyond our capacity to imagine. Even now we see every evidence of their early celebrations as they believe their plans are so well-laid and entering completion that “Who is like the beast, and who can go to war against him?"
When we arrive at the crossroads of understanding, the decision is then what changes us - do we determine to use those tools and gifts we have learned to serve the Almighty Creator and our fellow men, or do we use them to serve EGO/self/Lucifer?
Anyway, just my take, I'm new to much of this and very much still learning.
interesting insights. My take is that you are not really new, just not fully aware of what you really know. It will come to you as YHWH deems appropriate. This I have found to be the case.
You have a nice vocabulary, good job of writing and explaining your thoughts.
all of the disciples knew the scriptures they had to memorize them, they knew that the messiah's coming was to be announced by elijah, they questioned Jesus on this, if Jesus was the messiah, then John the Baptist had to be elijah. It is as simple as that. If john was not elijah, then Jeus is not the messiah. It would make the scriptures false of the Old testament, and provide no basis for the new testament or Jesus is not the messiah. So you choose, what you want to believe. If Jesus is the messiah, then John the Baptist was Elijah. If John was not Elijah, then Jesus is not the messiah. Or the Bible is false. those are the options.
quite simply, if john the baptist was not elijah then the scriptures are false, it was elijah that was to be calling in the desert. If it was not elijah, then jesus is not the messiah. simple. it is logic. either the scriptures are true or they are not. So you maintain that the old testament is not true. that it was not elijah.
What scriptures are your basis for that? I go back to Jn 1:21 when he was asked and said no. Elijah like John the Baptist were telling people to repent.
If you can give scriptures that state they are the same please let me know.
Sorry missed call have Ash this weekend was playing with her
Fulfillment: Matthew 11:14-15; 16:14; 17:9-13; Mark 6:14-16; 9:11-13; Luke 1:16-17; John 1:21
This is the third “forerunner” prophecy. Isaiah 40:3-4 spoke of a voice crying out to prepare the way of the Lord in the desert; Malachi 3:1 prophesied of a messenger preparing God’s way and now in Malachi 4:5-6, God sends the prophet Elijah before the “great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” Elijah’s mission is to bring about reconciliation, as the passage indicates:
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
I will do some research on the John the Baptist Elijah issue…Uncle Dave please understand I do not doubt your credentials ever! Please understand that.
I agree Christianity has become a “religion” of wealth, Joel Osteen Creflo Dollar etc and a lot of these “Christian” pastors are out for money….Buddhism I know some about and I know Uncle Doug is practices and that is what I go by I know what Christ taught I will get after the Buddhism research here this week.
We will agree to disagree on some things will get back to you on the John The Baptist.
I think more people should meditate on the gospels. There's 46 of them. Take one a day and meditate on it before going to sleep. Don't read someone else's interpretation, just sit with it in silence and ask for clarity. Do them in order. Activation of the Holy Spirit incoming.
" The chronology is quite a lesson by itself. You can see that the first group of parables focuses on the fact that there’s a new story being told, that it’s not to be hidden, and it serves as a foundation for what’s coming next. We then have the very important Parables #12 (sower and four types of soil) and #13 (weeds among good plants). This is followed by a group of “Kingdom of Heaven” parables (growing seed, yeast, valuable pearl, etc.). Now that the foundation has been built...."

So what I’m gathering is you are relying on Buddhism? That’s my take from your past several posts.
You make sure to state that Christianity is “perverse” the best way I can put what you’ve written.
Flynn knows Trump…ok? Point?
I really do believe that if Buddhism is so great why aren’t more worshipping? I know you and Doug do and Doug isn’t a real reliable or good witness for Buddhism….
forgot to address the Flynn issue. Trump is still touting the jab, which is totally flawed and is killing people, some quickly and others slowly and does nothing to save people, it is neither safe or effective. Flynn is part of the swamp that Trump said he was going to drain, and yet he surrounded himself and continues to with swamp people. Trump is nothing more than theater, and what did Jesus say about rich people??? that it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for a rich person to follow Him.
While the jab is useless we all knew from the beginning including politicos which they have recently admitted. I explained why I got mine since have detoxed. Flynn may have been part of swamp for Trump, let’s instead focus on what the swamp is doing now and less on Trump as the left is so deranged they keep focusing on him. The Swamp can’t get him out of their minds, quite hilarious actually.
The swamp Trump exposed them let’s look at the insider trading the sleepingxwith a Chinese spy(Swalwell) manufacturing evidence (Schiff, FBI etc)
The fact ppl are SOOOOOO focused on Trump still just says how scared they are of him, which I laugh at.
Let’s focus instead of the demented pedo in the WH right now, just a thought
Alan, I have a great relationship with Jesus, when Joshua was ready to take Jericho an entity appeared in front of him. Joshua asked him are your for us or against us, the entity replied "neither, I am commander of the host of heaven and take off your sandals as you are on holy ground" This was a heavenly deity of perfection, holy and I believe that it was Jesus before he was incarnate. Because I believe that Christianity has been hijacked and used for control and that reincarnations is what happens, does not mean that I am against Christianity and for Buddhism. I see that what Buddha taught and Jesus taught are one in the same. I also think that Buddhism has been hijacked for money and not being taught in the manner that Buddha did.
If you think that John the baptist was not Elijah reincarnated, then either the Old Testament or the New testament scriptures are not true. Be a truth seeker.
Find a flaw in my reasoning and logic. I have tried to present my case using logic and the available information; to see if it fits. I have a degree in the Bible from Southern Christian University and have attended seminary. I have the credentials to be a Christian pastor. My term papers that I wrote in seminary were published by my instructor, alas under his name.
There are probably more Buddhists in the world than there are Christians,

Scripture references that’s all I’m asking for. To be a thinker you go by facts I’ve stated what Jn 1:21 says.
