I was talking with a close friend, it is even some one that I have met. I say that as I have several friends that I correspond with that I have never met. I am a bit of a recluse and am comfortable with that. He knows that I claim to pray a lot and have conversations with the cosmos or God. He asked me about prayer, exactly how to pray. He said he did not know how, so taking him at his word I explained and thought that I would share what I told him and then also some conversations I have had with God.
I try to include God in all that I do, acknowledging his creation, the beauty and wonders that I get to see. Whatever I do, I try to mindfully include Him, as I know he is always with me and I figure he needs some encouragement and lots of thanks for His creation and that which he provides. I ask for wisdom, insights, guidance. I have seen lots of amazing things, like two scorpions having sex, a centipede caring for her brood, cleaning the fungus off their developing bodies, very maternal. I have watched the rarest of albatross flying far out in the ocean, no movement of their wings, just every now and then a little flick of the tips of their wings. Knowing that they can stay out to sea for a couple of months. Won't go on about all of the amazing things I get to see, but suppose that you are not impressed about two scorpions having sex, but do you know anyone that has seen this?
We all know about the Northern lights, but did you know that there are also southern lights and they are quite different than the northern ones, a mixing of pastel colors that goes on for hours after the sunsets. Wondrous to watch.
When I get into the prayer proper, I always give thanks, even for the little things, like hot and cold running water and a toilet and good food, and a peaceful place to live, never take these things for granted. I ask for mercy on those that do not have these things. I ask that God's will be done here on earth and in my life: that I will accomplish his will. I give thanks for all of those that are speaking out against the current evil and seek protection for them, that 5th dimension entities be stationed around them.
That I would possess a clean heart and that a right spirit be renewed in me constantly. Then I move onto the things that are on my mind, those specific interventions for others. I present it as a legal case (this is what my friend said after listening to my dissertation), why the intervention should be done, the good that comes from it and how far out the good will reach, how many others it will touch and further accomplish good things.
I think of God as my close friend, I like to share my life with him and also want to know how he feels about things, his pains, his desires, so I ask him. He shares with me. We have a close relationship that goes back 3000 years that I am aware of, and sometimes I was a bad boy, and he forgives, but there is always a bit of correction involved, sometimes involving a lifetime of penance. He continues to give me tasks to do, things to accomplish in these multiple lives that I have lived.
I asked him once why he just does not instill in everyone obedience to him, and he answered that he gives free will and wants people to come to him freely. He then told me that what I asked would be like a field of wheat, and that he could blow the wind and make all of the wheat bow before him (think boring or mechanical) , but that is not his desire, he wants it to be free will, an open relationship, one that is desired and cultivated, with each side cultivating the friendship. Each side doing things to please the other to make the other want to continue in the relationship, valuing the relationship.
I also asked him the ever present question that all people seem to ask, why does God not do something about this or that evil thing going on. His answer is; you are aware of the evil, I have made you aware of the evil, now it is up to you to do something about that evil. Goes to that saying that all it takes for evil to succeed is for enough good men to do nothing. Ask God what you can do, instead of asking him to do something, he will guide you, assist you, help you, but you must take action. God loves helping the little guy take on Goliath, just have some courage and step up.
In the realm of the cosmos there are things that you can do, prayer is one of them and then there is most effective prayer, the prayer of a righteous person, a person that connects to the cosmos, understand the workings, the enemy and how to use this knowledge.
This is the basis for my newsletters, to provide you with knowledge, the tools you need and it is up to you to take part. It is easy and it is hard, how hard; it is up to you and your desires. Align your desires with the cosmos and it becomes easy. Attach to this world and worldly desires and it will be hard, maybe impossible.
beautiful post... always thinking of God tuning in to all our billions of little ‘soap opera’ lives... think he likes to see the creativity & individuality of it all 🐱.
I’m interested in what you say about prayer. I’ve always felt the old adage about “once you commit, Providence moves” deep into my being. I’ve experienced god through the commitment of my actions. And the words of Terence McKenna ring true here too:
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”
